About me. The blogger and writer
Hello I’m Alex or you can call me ‘Asperger’. Welcome to my writers blog. Do my best to update at least once a month.
I’m a 40 something guy and disabled writers view on the world. If I wanted to show off; it’s Alex Richard Attenkofer Taggart BA(hons). I’m a graduate of Sheffield University. I’ve majored in journalism and audio production. I’ve interests in the arts, sci-fi, mythology, and history. I was officially labelled with ‘High functioning Aspersers four plus years ago. Said that always known that I’ve been the ‘black sheep’ in a crowd of wolfs.
After a refresher course for my creative writing, it promoted me to do this blog. You can think of me as your hitchhikers’ guide to Aspergers. Tips of how to get through life with it. Things I’ve learned over the years. Wish I’d known when I was younger. It’s a hard world out there. Hope can come up with some words of wisdom to relieve your pain. I will do my best. If you’re a parent looking for information you are most welcome. Like with any other learning disability, the earlier you can learn to cope, the easier it is. It will be the hardest when your child start turning into an adult. Something I plan to cover of the course of this blog.
Not everything will be doom and gloom. I’ve a range of knowledge on the ‘fun stuff’. It does seem to be a positive of Asperger. Your brain is like a sponge. You gather information like no one else. However it ends be stuff that not wins you a girl or boyfriend. I’ll will cover how to use your talents with people. There be hobbies and stuff to help pimp your social life. Some interests will be just for yourself and self improvement. Will keep a variety subjects, do check back for something that interests you. Feedback and letters are welcome too. Any good letters and things of interest to readers will be published on the letters page. Email is below. Welcome and enjoy the blog.
